Super Bowl Snacks

It's Super Bowl Sunday! My favorite part about the Super Bowl is the snacks. This year, my family is making a bunch of food. We have sliders, guacamole, queso dip, spinach and artichoke dip, pigs in a blanket, cheese plates, chips, and crackers. My family goes all out for the Super Bowl. We cook until the game starts. I love how we do super bowl. What is your favorite Super Bowl snack?

This is the one of best kale salads ever! Click HERE  for the recipe, and try my other kale salad recipe...(that is also amazing) I made this for the first time after I got the kale salad at True Food Kitchen restaurant. I wanted to make something like it. My family came up with this recipe when we tasted it. We tried to guess what was in it. We found most of the base ingredients and made a recipe from that! 1/2 pound of kale 2 tbsp of lemon juice 5 tbsp of olive oil 2 pinches of salt a handful of grated parmesan cheese Wash kale and put in a large bowl. Put olive oil  in with the kale and rub into kale until completely coated. Add lemon juice and salt. Serve with cheese on top. Why do you have to rub (or massage) the kale? = Well, it coats the kale completely in the olive oil and lemon juice and stays coated. The juices incorporate itself into the kale which gives it  a crunchy, smooth texture with a tangy, olive taste. Doesn't this look AMAZING?...

Poke in California... or, Anywhere!

       If you don't already know, poke is a dish that consisted of raw fish like salmon or tuna, and greens and/or grains. You can usually find it in Hawaii and it's starting to come to California and other western states. I'm talking about the poke in California  because I used to live in Orange County. Now, I am here on vacation! Me and my family have a poke place just down the street from here called Kamea Poke. We think it is awesome so when we fly in, We stop to get lunch! Easter Deviled Eggs!

Every Easter, my sister and I  have a deviled eggs competition. This year, she won! The judges (my dad and my uncle) said it was the best egg they ever had! This is the recipe for her winning truffle parmesan egg. Truffle parmesan deviled eggs: Ingredients and tools: 1 hard-boiled egg mayonnaise black truffle sauce grated parmesan cheese salt pepper sandwich sized plastic bag 1. Split one peeled hard-boiled egg in half 2. Scoop out the yolks and place in bowl. Set the whites on a separate plate 3. Mash the yolks with a fork until small and crumbly 4. Add a spoonful of mayonnaise 5. Mix together with a fork 6. Add about one teaspoon of black truffle sauce 7. Add in some parmesan. As much as you want!
